I am not sure if I have understood your problem. I assume you could make a web page if you already have some content in mind. What you are asking is some suggestion about the content. Am I right?
If so, just think of a hand-organized blog. Bring your thoughts, ideas, poem, ... to paper. Change them to HTML page and publish it, for now. Greater ideas would come gradually by itself. Good luck.

Just look into url forwarding. You can register your domain with most popular registrars today and they should offer the service. It is as simple as going to the proper panel and typing in the address to forward request for. This will keep you from having to re-upload the files to a new server.
